My First 10k
Designed for the runner who has completed a 5k and is ready for the next challenge, let us teach you how to safely increase distance to comfortably run 6 miles. Included in the program are coached weekly training sessions, monthly seminars on related topics, a technical running shirt, a properly fit pair of running shoes (up to $140), entry fee into target race and MORE!
Training Schedule: The group trains together on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. There will also be three scheduled Saturday sessions. Workouts will begin and end on time.
Training Pre-Reqs: Participants must be able to run three miles comfortably without stopping in at least 45 minutes.
