My First 5k

About the Program

More than just a running program, My First 5k will teach you how to safely RUN a 5k in 12 weeks.  You will learn to make the necessary lifestyle changes to make fitness and running a regular part of your life. The group trains together twice a week and on three scheduled Saturdays. 

Training Includes:

  • Weekly training sessions
  • Monthly seminars on related topics
  • Technical running shirt
  • Properly fit pair of running shoes (up to $140)
  • Nutrition Plan 
  • Entry fee into target race and more!

Training Pre-Reqs

There are NO training pre-requisites for this class.  A willing attitude and a readiness for change is all that is needed to start the class.

Pensacola My First 5k

Pensacola Winter 2011-My First 5k Training culminates with the Bayou Hills 5k race (race is March 17 2012).  Class meets every Monday and Wednesday (5:30-6:30 pm).  There are three scheduled Saturday sessions.
