My First Tri

About the Program

 

Designed for the individual who would like to complete his or her first sprint triathlon.  My First Tri is a 12 week program that will take you to the finish line.  Participants will learn the basics of the three disciplines (swimming, biking and running), how to navigate transition area and overcome fear of open water swimming.  Included in program are weekly coached workouts, individualized weekly training schedule, entry fee into race, monthly seminars on triathlon related topics, a team jersey and more! Each participant will recieve a comprehensive training schedule with specific weekly goals and regular one on one feedback with the coach.  Before starting the program participants should be able to swim 200 yards, run 2 miles (pace not important) and cycle a minimum of 5-8 miles (about 45 minutes) regardless of speed. Prior to the start of training participants should have: goggles, swim cap, swimsuit, bike, bike helmet and properly fit running shoes.

 Upcoming Classes

Spring 2011-Pensacola Training begins February 2011 and culminates with the Grandman Triathlon (race is June 2011).  Registration and training info coming soon!
