If you’re an endurance athlete (if you’re reading this you are one) then your life consists of running or walking or some endurance activity regularly. While you do get stronger, faster, leaner, etc. from the endurance activity while you’re doing it, you make the biggest gains when you rest. Rest is defined as not doing anything to much slower than your normal pace of running or walking. Next week we’ll talk about how often and when you should rest.
