What drives him? Here’s what he had share…
What is your daily grind like and what do you like to do outside of that?
My daily grind is being your Pensacola Chiropractor. I own Henry Chiropractic and I love treating my patients. At Henry Chiropractic I help patients reach their goals, whether it is getting out of pain, weight loss or gait stability for running.
Our motto is healthy mind, body and spirit! Outside of Henry Chiropractic I am a sport enthusiast. I enjoy kayaking, mountain biking, surfing, paddle boarding, kickball, dodgeball and of course RUNNING!
Why did you start running? What does it mean to you?
I started running in elementary school. I remember enjoying the timed mile at recess and the occasional 5k. Running is instinctive to me. We as humans are born for it.Running keeps me centered and is the best outlet for stress.
How has Running Wild helped you reach your goals?
They offer support both in running and as a local business. I have partnered with them in some community events.
What was your favorite thing about training with Running Wild?
I look forward to group runs. Tuesday and Thursdays 6@6 are great to keep you accountable.
What is your greatest (favorite) athletic/running accomplishment to date and why?
The Blackwater 50k Trail Challenge. I had never hit the wall while running. While running that race I hit it at the 25-mile mark. I went from an 8:30min/mile pace to a 20:00+ min/mile pace.
Finishing through that race was the hardest physical challenge for me. Thanks to Running Wild and their support through the race. Alex, I owe you a personal thanks for the food and the encouragement along the way. Next year I will be ready for this race.
